Overnight Prints offers a great value and a several special options and upgrades. They offer high quality cards at lower-than Market Standard pricing. They give you over 5,000 templates to choose from when designing your card, and their editor is easy to use. Their 15 point default card stock is thicker than our Market Standard of 14 point card stock, and you have the option to upgrade to an even thicker 16 point card stock. In addition to regular business cards, Overnight Prints also offers special options, such as rounded corners and Spot UV finish.

We rated Overnight Prints’ default card 5 out of 5 stars. Their default card stock is 15 point, which is thicker than our Market Standard of 14 point. Overnight Prints’ default card size is 2” x 3.5”, which is the standard size of a business card. They offer a choice of either glossy or matte as the default finish at no additional cost (typically glossy finish costs extra).

Using a Predesigned Template

Overnight Prints has average quality predesigned templates. However, they offer 5,000 templates and 14 fonts to choose from. If you use any of Overnight Prints' predesigned templates, you can't upload your logo, but you are able upload your logo if you create a card from scratch in their editor.

Creating a Card from Scratch

We rated Overnight Prints 4 out of 5 stars for creating a card from scratch. Overnight Prints’ design tool is very easy to use. The editor allows you to add as many text fields to your card as you’d like. They also have a drag-and-drop feature that lets you move the text and images around your card with ease. Overnight Prints’ card editor shows you cut and bleed lines, which help with the placement of your design. You can draw manually on the card. They also have vertical layouts available. They let you upload an unlimited number of images per order, and we found it very easy to upload, resize and move images around the templates. The only thing this editor is lacking is a way to auto-align your text, so that it has a consistent look.

In order to see how easy it was to create a card from scratch using Overnight Prints’ design tool, we attempted to replicate a simple business card we already had. The overall designing and creation of the card is easy. One issue we ran across is that we had to switch back and forth between “Quick Start" and "Advanced" editing tabs in the interface for simple edits, which made this process somewhat cumbersome for recreating our business card’s design. But besides that, with Overnight Prints we were able to create a near replica of our business card design.

Options & Upgrades

Overnight Prints offers traditional, flat print cards. The only card stocks they offer is 15 and 16 point card stock, which is relatively thick compared to our Market Standard of 14 point card stock. The 15 point cards can come with either a matte or glossy finish, while the 16 point stock only comes with a glossy finish. They also offer cards with rounded corners (for an extra $2 per 100 cards) and a Spot UV finish, which gives you the ability to select parts of your card on which to put a UV-glossy finish for a highlighted effect.

Shipping & Delivery

Overnight Prints’ standard shipping time is 5 business days, which meets our Market Standard of one week. Overnight Prints’ standard shipping costs $6.75 for 250 cards shipped to any location in the U.S. Next-day shipping is available but incredibly pricey at $185.20 for 250 cards. 1-2 day shipping is also available, but expensive, as it costs $92.60 to ship 250 cards. Shipping prices vary with order size and location.

Customer Support

Overnight Prints'  phone and email support are available Monday through Friday from 5 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., and weekends from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. PST. We found their email support to be very fast, helpful, and knowledgeable when answering our questions. They took only two minutes to respond via email, which is incredibly speedy, especially considering the detailed response we received from their support representative.

Pricing

Overnight Prints offers 250 business cards for $15.45, which comes out to about 6 cents per card. This is relatively inexpensive compared to other online vendors, as our Market Standard is 8 cents per card. It costs an additional $6.10 to print on the back side of 250 cards (price varies with order size). Their other order sizes range from 50 cards to 5,000 cards. Overnight Prints offers a 100% money-back guarantee if there are any mistakes they have made on your cards. They also give a 50% money-back guarantee if you make an error, including: a typo in your design, your design lies outside of the cut/bleed lines, or you simply change your mind about your card design. This is incredibly lenient, compared to all other business card sites we've researched.
