123Print offers quality business cards and is one of the only companies we’ve reviewed with free shipping.  Although 123Print has higher-than-Market Standard pricing, their free shipping option definitely makes up for the price. They also have faster shipping options for an additional fee. In addition to regular business cards, they also offer several special options, such as mini cards, rounded corners, linen cards, and magnetic/metal cards. You can select from a range of card stocks (or card thickness) that go up to 15 point, which is thicker than our Market Standard 14 point.

Default Card

We rated 123Print’s default card 3 out of 5 stars. Their default card stock is 12 point, which is thinner than our Market Standard of 14 point. Their default card size is 2” x 3.5,” which meets the Market Standard. They offer a matte default finish. You can get a glossy finish for an extra $10.

Creating a Card from Scratch

We rated 123Print 4 out of 5 stars for creating a card from scratch. Their design editor is extremely flexible, which makes designing a card very easy to do. They let you upload an unlimited number of images per order for free. We found their image uploading process to be above average, as they make it easy to crop, re-size and place your image where you want it on the card. Their design tool also includes a drag-and-drop feature to help you create your card. They show you the cut and bleed lines on your card, which help with placement of your design. They have a vertical layout available, and you can save your design for future use when creating your card.  The only limitations we found are that they do not auto-align the text for you, and they do not allow you to draw manually on the card.
 
In order to see how easy it was to create a card from scratch using 123Print’s design tool, we attempted to replicate a simple business card we already had. The card was very easy to create, and the only limitations we experienced were not being able to add a vertical line (divider) to the card and some difficulty with aligning the text.

123Print offers 200 cards for $22.95, which comes out to 11 cents per card. This is more expensive than our Market Standard of $0.08 per card. It cost an additional $10 to print on the back side of 250 cards (price varies with order size). Their other order sizes range from 100 cards to 10,000 cards.
