At 10 cents/card, uPrinting’s pricing was well within our Market Standard.  The total turnaround time of eight days was also within our Market Standard.  uPrinting offers 500 standard, predesigned templates. We rated uPrinting’s design tool 4 out of 5 stars because of its easy-to-use WYSIWG editor.  For card quality, we gave uPrinting 3 out of 5 stars because, while the card did not crease when bent, the card did not hold its shape. uPrinting’s default cardstock is 14 point, and their default card finish is glossy.

VistaPrint offers 45 templates to help you create your cards, but these templates are fairly standard with typical clipart and stock photos. VistaPrint’s design tool received 0 stars, which is the lowest score possible. While VistaPrint does offer a full WYSIWYG design editor, they charge you an additional $9.99 for access to it, and their free editor is poor. Out of 5 stars, we gave VistaPrint 2 stars for card quality. Although the cards were easy to write on, the cards did not hold their shape and creased when bent.

All Andreoni cards are either designed by the customer or by Sabatino Andreoni. We gave Andreoni a high star rating for card quality because the card held its shape when bent and did not crease. Andreoni’s default cardstock is 16 point, which is thicker than most business card printing sites, and their default card finish is Matte Laminate. With the 2000 minimum card quantity, Andreoni’s price per card breaks down to 8 cents/card, which is below our Market Standard.  However, the actual turnaround time to receive our cards took 15 days, which was longer than our Market Standard.
